
Through the efforts of FBYC member Dick Curtiss, USCG Auxiliary Vessel Examiners will be available on the Jackson Creek docks starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday May 10 to conduct free courtesy safety examinations. The USCG courtesy safety inspection program is designed to promote safety awareness and information. A
description of the program, and a
copy of the checklist used in the inspection, are available for by clicking on the links. Any boat passing the courtesy inspection will receive, and will be entitled to display, a Safety Check Decal, signifying that it has passed a safety inspection by a USCG approved Vessel Examiner.
