Join the Offshore or One-Design Race Committee Team

Are you interested in the satisfaction of a job well done, working as part of a team, playing an important role in an exciting event, spending quality time on the Bay, making new friends and fulfilling a portion of your FBYC volunteer obligation? If your answer to one or more of these questions is yes, then you should consider joining the Race Committee Team this year. You may have thought about volunteering in the past but thought you lacked experience. In reality, little experience is necessary. All that you need is the ability to work with a team, focus on a specific task and follow instructions.
What is your next step? Just select a date (or dates) that fit your schedule and contact the Principal Race Officer (PRO) listed for either the Offshore or One-Design event. You will be welcomed by your fellow race committee teammates. By the end of the day, you will have the satisfaction of having been part of a team that provided an important service to the club.
