What’s Included:
- Three classroom sessions
- On-the-water practice
- Course handbook with racing schedule for 2025
- Refreshments and social to meet the skippers
Registration Information:
- Fee: $60 (includes course materials, refreshments, and social)
- Who: Open to adult beginners and intermediate sailors who want to learn how to crew on race boats. The course is available to both FBYC members and non-members.
- When:
- Classroom Sessions: Tuesdays, March 25, April 1, and April 8 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM
- Meet the Skippers: Friday, April 11 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM
- On-the-water Training: Saturday, April 19 (full day)
- Where:
- Classroom Sessions: 6802 Paragon Place, 5th Floor, Richmond, VA 23230
- Meet the Skippers: Richmond restaurant (TBD)
- On-the-water Training: Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Deltaville, VA
