Making Volunteering Easy

Are you as grateful as I am that our annual dues stay so low, thanks to the hard work of all of our volunteers pitching in throughout the year? Staffing events, sprucing up the club, running race committees. . . so many great ways that our members contribute. As a reminder, we do ask our members to volunteer three times a year, but so many of them do even more! The signups for many of this year's events are starting to go up. We encourage you to check the Volunteering page on the FBYC webpage to find the newest signup genius for different events. There are even new categories listed on the right that allow you to signup to be called for Offshore Race Committee or One Design Race Committee work, and a signup that you can indicate interest in different areas, and we can use that list to reach out and fill spots when needed.
Please take a minute to visit the page and see where you can pitch in to help. Check it throughout the year and watch Facebook for more offers. We DO ask that each member give their time three times a year (which keeps our dues low!) but we aim to make it as fun and easy to sign up as possible! Can't wait to see you behind the registration table at the next event (one of my favorite jobs!)
