SOUTHERN BAY RACING NEWS YOU CAN USE - ZAP FLASH!

onSCREWPILE WRAP UP:
Each morning the wind had the makings of a nice racing breeze, but by
each mid-afternoon the wind took a powder, and left racers wishing for more than
they had. Hard working race committees got in 4 races (1 on Sunday,
2 on Monday, and 1 on Tuesday). The parties were top of the line and event
organizers have been showered with positive comments from racers. After
all, wind is wind and no matter what, "you play the cards you're dealt" ,
as Maverick would say.
Three
southern Bay boats did especially well: John Hanna's
Battlewagon, Pearson 37, finished 2nd in the largest fleet (PHRF 4 - 23
boats), Paul Anderson's Titillation, finished
2nd in the 8 boat J/29 fleet, and Mike Anderson's Movin'
On, Beneteau FC 8 , finished 3rd among the 10 boats racing in the PHRF
6 fleet.
