Due to an error, our printer recently re-sent the August Log instead of the September Log.  The September Log has now been mailed and should arrive soon.  You may also view it through this link: https://www.fbyc.net/Club/Log/201609.pdf.

In the meantime, please make note of the following time-sensitive items:

  • The Stingray Point Regatta starts Friday, September 2nd and goes through Sunday, September 4th.
  • September 5th, we will have the second of three planned meetings on replacing the East Dock at the Main Clubhouse (upstairs at 10 a.m.)

We have yachts visiting for Stingray Regatta and this information will help to avoid confusion and assist the task of accommodating our visitors without disruption to our members.

The Pump Out Stations will be closed down at the club on Monday the 16th and the water shut off all Docks on Monday the 24th November.

The Pump Out and the water on the Docks will be off till Spring (exact date to be determined by the weather).

FBYC Junior Regatta/Virginia Commonwealth's Cup June 26, 27th

I am completely amazed how rich the "Corinthian spirit" has been at our club and how many members are volunteering for our upcoming two day regatta.  After a year of being bound by a computer our kids finally have the opportunity to be on the water again to represent our amazing sailing program and club.  We are hosting the Virginia State Championship which is also the season opener for CBYRA.  With registration open for about a month we have been successfully amassing an army of volunteers to serve over 100 sailors along with their family and friends.  As far as the eye can see will be an armada of kids geared and ready to give it their all June 26-27th …
