From the president of USODA - whose wife came with a child
On behalf of the USODA, I want to take this opportunity to thank you, the Flag, and all of the volunteer members of Fishing Bay YC for producing a fine USODA Championship.
Colette was very impressed by the registration staff when she arrived at 9:15 PM and they were packing up at the West Marine. She knew well that the deadline was 9:00 but asked if itwas still possible to register. They cheerfully reopened and processed Ian. (They did not know who Colette was when she asked ). Southern Hospitality was certainly the spirit of the event.
Thanks again,
Best Regards,
John Storck, Jr.

Noel,
I'm sure I speak for all FBYC junior parents, and all visitors to our
club this weekend, in thanking you for the Herculean efforts you and
your ACC team invested in making this event a class act. Having had
exposure to the regatta scene all my life, I can tell you that very few
are as well run as this one was. The RC work was superb, and the shore
side activities were well organized and well orchestrated. You have put
FBYC on the map as a player in junior sailing. Thank you!!

Thanks for all your hard work. It was a great event ! Well done. Our apologies for missing trophies. We just made our flights. Thanks again.
From John and "Scooter" Barbano, parents of a participant
Noel, It's over! You can now relax.
You did an outstanding job of running the regatta.. not an easy task and lots of stress.
Please convey my gratitude to you team for a job well done!
Best regards,
From a club member volunteer
Noel, Congratulations for pulling off a wonderful event! I have heard nothing but compliments and am proud to have been a small part. I hope it will not be too much of a letdown to have to go back to practicing law.
From a Hampton Yacht Club member
From Mike Archibald, CODA president
On behalf of the small group of Canadians (2 from Nova Sotia and 1 from Quebec) sailors and parents thank you for being such warm hosts. I would also ask you to spread the word to the Opti sailors of the Northeast to consider the 2005 Canadian Championships in Halifax Nova Scotia Aug 21-24. Nova Scotia is a short ferry ride from Bar Harbor ME. We will have a website up shortly www.opticanadians2005.com
From the MOST team, which took 4 of the top 5 overall places
The MOST team would like to express its thanks to the organizers, race committee, and support team of Fishing Bay Yacht Club. My daughter ---- returned to Illinois last evening with her mother. While their stay was short, they enjoyed their visit greatly.
Thanks.
From a parent
Thank you so much for all that you and the other members of Fishing Bay did during the regatta. You all did a wonderful job and made everyone feel welcome. That was a large number of people to keep happy! Thanks again.
From Steve Podlich
Thanks for the hospiltality. I hope I did not add too much interruption to an already busy weekend for you and all your volunteers. I enjoyed meeting Dave Lee again (after figuring out I’ve raced against him before). Seeing how FBYC’s RC did the job certainly gave me a leg up on our regatta next spring.
You have a beautiful club on a unique piece of our bay. I’ve heard good things about FBYC all my life, I wish it did not take me so long to find a reason to visit.

You folks did a great job with the regatta. I know how much planning and help it takes to make an event work smoothly because I was responsible for the land operations for the Leiter Cup (womens national laser radial championship) which was held at our club this summer. Congratulations!
