Wine Tasting to Mark Kick-Off for 2001 Leukemia Cup Regatta

2001 Sailing Update and Wine Reception Featuring Gary Jobson and wines by Barbourvilles Vineyard 7:00pm, Friday March 23 in Richmond. Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield Headquarters ar 2015 Staples Mill Road.7-10pm.Sailors wine lovers and others interested in beating the winter blahs and getting an insiders look at this year's many challenging sailboat races have a treat in store. Friday night March 23rd at Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield Headquarters Fishing Bay Yacht Club will host a Wine tasting with wines provided by Barbourvilles Vineyard. A sailing update will be presented by prominent sailing analyst and author Gary Jobson, who is expected to update several world races including THE RACE, The Vendee Globe, the popular Volvo Ocean Race and other top sailing events. Jobson is one of the founders and serves as the notional chaitman of the Volvo Leukemia Regatta series. In addition to the wine tasting and sailing update, their will be a auction for paintings donated by well know Richmond artist Baxter Perkinson. admission is $25.00 and tickets will be available at the door.
